Shrub Roses – One of the Easiest Roses to Grow

The shrub rose is one of the easiest roses to grow. Shrub roses are tall plants which can range from 4 feet to 12 feet.

Shrub roses usually bloom only once but they bloom heavy during spring and early summer. They also produce hips which can be dried and made into rose hip tea. Sometimes the hips will grow if planted.

Caring for the shrub rose is very easy since they don't require a lot of care. They do need plenty of water so be sure to water them well especially during the summer. Most people don't prune shrub roses, letting them grow tall and in any direction.
