Hybrid Tea Roses

A cross between old fashioned tea roses and hybrid perpetuals. Hybrid Tea Roses have the perfect fragrance, size, and elegance than any other type of roses. All hybrid tea roses are repeat bloomers, blooming every year through the growing season. The flowers on them usually have more than 60 petals and be as large as 5 inches in diameter. Caring for hybrid tea roses is simple. They need adequate supply of water and fertilizers. When watering the plant, make sure to water the soil and not the leaves, to prevent disease. Water the soil heavily so the plant will grow deep roots. This is crucial to the plant survival during period of drought. When it comes to when to water your roses, it depends on your climate. Hotter climate will need more frequent watering, while colder climate will need less watering. As a general rule, an inch or two of water a week is needed.
