After that, dig a hole large enough for the plant and roots to fit. Cover the hole with soil half way and water the plant at the base until the soil is heavily soaked. Finish off by filling the hole with soil and watering the plant again.
When it comes to watering landscape roses, water them on a daily basis. Depending on the climate you live in, it might be necessary to water them more than once a day. Always water them at the base and avoid the leaves from getting it. This is minimize disease problem for the roses.
Like any other plants, they need food too. Fertilize your landscape roses with rose food every 4 to 6 weeks. Choose a fertilizer that are high in phosphorus, nitrogen, and potassium. Some fertilizers come as a stick, while others comes as small pebbles. Either one should work fine and it all depends on your preferences.
